Parisian’s know food, but they also know how to eat food, important distinction to make. While we here over in the good ol’ US of A are familiar with our Fourth Of July Family BBQ and Thanksgiving dinner, these are just the tip of the iceberg. To have a truly decadent one of a kind dining experience of gastronomic proportions you need to head over to France and book yourself in to a classic Réveillon. This is the famous French dinner that literally lasts for hours, with maybe a dozen different courses served. In case you’re not familiar with the term, this is the traditional dinner on the evening or evenings before Christmas. While there are a lot of countries that have historically celebrated this particular holiday feast, the French of course do it the best.
Obviously trying to list every restaurant in Paris that offers a true Réveillon would be pointless and time consuming, rather, if you’re actually going to be there and do that, you should just google it and find a location and menu that you fall in love with.
